Phantasma is a blockchain for content distribution of Smart NFTs, Gaming and dApps that is fast, secure and decentralized. The governance token is SOUL and the energy token is KCAL, which allow interoperability with other blockchains, while maintaining a decentralized governance system.
With its innovative staking mechanism, dual token system and advanced smart non-fungible tokens, it allows the Phantasma blockchain to be used for digital goods and services such as communication, entertainment, NFT marketplace and on-chain storage.

Tell us about yourself?
I graduated with a marketing degree with a specialty in ecommerce at the turn of the millennium, started a marketing agency in 2005 and focused on delivering digital marketing services. This lead to teaching agency owners and by the mid 2010’s I was getting bored coaching business owners so I took up coaching a youth hockey team.
There I met by crypto connection and my career took a turn. Now I have the privilege to lead a marketing team at one of the best blockchains out there with absolutely the best colleagues that I’ve ever worked with in my entire career.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Buy more SOUL. As much as you possibly can. Eat ramen, buy SOUL.
What problem does your business solve?
Phantasma is a layer 1 blockchain with enhanced functionality that can solve several business challenges in a multitude of industries. As blockchain rumbles through these industries, the gaming industry is core to Phantasma because of the enhanced value with Smart NFTs Phantasma can bring to game developers.
With this enhanced functionality, video games can bring true ownership to unique in-game assets, and our blockchain can allow game developers to bring this economy to their platform, integrated into the cryptocurrency world.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
Phantasma connects people in ways never seen with technology. As an open-source, community driven platform, Phantasma’s community is absolutely second to none in the cryptocurrency world. This has resulted in a layer 1 blockchain with Smart NFT technology that can provide users benefits no other blockchains can provide.
This is allowing game developers to connect their audiences never seen before, and integrating these into the metaverse will only allow Phantasma to continue to connect more and more users.
What is your magic sauce?
Phantasma is a layer 1 blockchain built for gamers, by gamers. We understand it takes a true gamers to fully understand how blockchain can immensely change the gaming industry.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
Phantasma is striving to the leading gaming blockchain platform for the metaverse. We want to empower gamers to own their efforts and experiences, and allow them to share those experiences with their social circles.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
the biggest challenge likely could be the current perception of blockchain technology, and how it’s tied to the cryptocurrency market. The software and solutions the technology provides is independent of the market fluctuations.
Whether our token price is high or low, we continue to build, create and connect. In the end, as long as we continue to improve adoption at a manageable rate, we are making changing to improve the gaming world.
