Bitfortip is a Bitcoin Startup. It’s mission is to spread Bitcoin and cryptocurrency awareness to the general public in a nice manner that makes sense to the everyday user.
Tell us about yourself?
Self-taught in computer technologies. Been involved in Bitcoin since 2014 when I first learned about the currency of the internet that knows no boundaries and is cencorship resistant backed by cryptography.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
All is good. Hard work pays off. Probably that advise should be first told when I first started.
What problem does your business solve?
Use case examples below:
Upload a photo with your smartphone (i.e. a dress ) that you saw on a magazine, website, Pinterest or Instagram and you don’t know where to buy it online connect it with a BTC reward of your choice and upload it to bitfortip so members can try and search it online for you in order to win the bitcoin reward.
Find a better price for an item that you want. Offer a small Bitcoin reward for members to search for you online.
Find a piece of information on the internet that you can’t find on your own. Post an inquiry along with a bitcoin reward for people to find you a certain link, image, e.t.c.

What is the inspiration behind your business?
I couldn’t find a favorite t-shirt of mine that wore off with the years and I was willing to tip money in order for someone to help me find it. Same idea can be used for various things such as a specific link/image/ code issue etc.
What is your magic sauce?
Bitfortip is a service that has been running continuously since 2015. Currently it has 60.000 registered members. First mover advantage / Unique concept and mentioned multiple times in articles/forums and videos is really helpful to be distinguished
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
Make the service more known worldwide. Onboard and educate users on the value of cryptocurrencies. Add more crypto options.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
Biggest challenge initially was that Bitcoin and the term cryptocurrency wasn’t very well known back in 2015 when Bitfortip first started. Bitfortip has launched educational videos and numerous articles on websites and forums as well as presentations on Universities and tech exhibitions informing the public. Since 2019 Bitfortip has added 3 additional cryptocurrencies. Those are NANO, Bitcoin Cash and Tezos.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
People can introduce cryptocurrency teams that would like to be implemented as a financial incentive on the platform. Email can be sent to [email protected]
