Our startup is TelePe, where users can directly pay with their cryptocurrency in local markets, online websites, malls, etc., by just scanning the UPI QR code of companies like Paytm, Google-Pay given to the vendors, or at UPI Addresses. These payments will be processed in most currencies as per the country. These will be real-time payments with the risk-free crypto transfer. In next five years everyone will come and use the metaverse and there our startup TelePe will play a major part in financial sector between metaverse and real world.
Tell us about yourself?
I am Nakul Gupta, Founder and CEO of Nakul Telestock (OPC) Private Limited. I am a very realistic, practical, ambitious person. I love blockchains, and that’s why I am in this startup. I am pursuing BCA with the Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies. I’ve been in a startup space for the last two years with this company, and I want to make people’s life easy with my startup.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
I wish life could have reverse button, These are some things, i would advice to younger me…
* Invest in more NFT’s and cryptocurrency.
* It is never late to start working for your dream, never!
* Make more connections with people.
* Always speak truth, then you don’t have to remember what you have said to which person.
* Don’t be afraid of taking chances. The dots will connect in the future.
* Expect less.
* Never give up.
What problem does your business solve?
Once the money is invested in cryptocurrency, it has to be withdrawn to the bank before spending it. No automated platform to pay to local shops with cryptocurrency. No platform to earn interest on crypto when storing it in the wallet. Hard to buy different cryptocurrencies by selling a type of it.
Users can directly pay like Indian Rupee or US Dollars to businesses with the help of cryptocurrency easily using TelePe. Users can easily buy different cryptocurrencies by selling them in just 2 Clicks using TelePe. Users can earn interest on cryptocurrency by investing without any risk with TelePe.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
I used to invest many amounts in cryptocurrencies. I used to invest 70% of my money in cryptocurrency and the leftover money I use for my bills. But every time I would break, I had to sell my cryptocurrency to pay my bills, and because of this, I used to lose my money and waste a lot of time as I first had to withdraw that money to the account, then I give money to businesses. This was a huge transaction process, and I used to do all this manually. So I think that if I am getting these difficulties, other people may also get the same problems. So then I got the idea of TelePe.
What is your magic sauce?
I am passionate about tech and want to change the view people see in today’s world about blockchain and make people’s lives easier with my startup. As my competitors are not doing this, that is what I am doing, but my main focus is for the next 50 years on making the payment system easy in this world.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
In the next five years, I have to make the best bridge between the metaverse and the real world in terms of finance and make it hassle-free for them to do any financial transactions. In the next five years, I will make TelePe a brand known by everyone in this world.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
Our biggest challenge is the government. As in India, there are no rules and regulations towards cryptocurrencies, which makes people uncomfortable investing in cryptocurrency. But as the Supreme court said that we might not ban it, in the next 5-6 months, people will start investing in it in huge amounts, making our startup grow.
