Tell us about yourself?
I am an operational professional with background in supply chain and project management. I am in charge of marketing, operation, business development in the game studio.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Maybe, Buy more Bitcoin and Ethereum? haha, I had many hesistations when I was contemplating to join a blockchain start-up from a traditional corporate career. I would give myself a pep-talk to buy into the web3 vision.
What problem does your business solve?
The traditional gaming industry is unilateral, centralized, and not giving enough values back to the gamer communities as it should, even though increasingly more values are created outside of the game and in the communities/social graphs therein.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
We wanted to help gamers to realize their game assets and be empowered to capitalize on their game time and efforts. We see NFT and gaming as the intuitive and powerful pair to bring this vision to reality.
What is your magic sauce?
We are entertainment-focused blockchain game company and leverage blockchain as a way to fill the gap and fix the problems that cannot be addressed otherwise.
So we build and polish game to be fun and engaging while identifying sweet spots where blockchain technology can be plugged to enhance gamer experience.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
We adopted a governance token for the League of Kingdom franchise called League of Kingdoms Arena (LOKA)
We will build out the foundational infrastructures for the player-owned governance and enhanced Play-to-earn economy in the League of Kingdoms universe while accelerating the growth of our global community with over 400,000+ monthly active gamers.
We expect the game metaverse to transition into a full DAO in 5 years and become fully community driven.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
Few of the challenges we faced.
- Mainstream conversion: Lowering the barriers to entry to web3 for our non-crypto mainstream gamers. (About half of our 400K user base are non-crypto mainstream gamers)
- Bot farms and Marcros: Fighting the bot farms and cheaters to maintain integrity of the game economy.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
Many of our gamers come for fun and are staying for crypto.
