Tell us about yourself?
I’m a business architect and a crypto front-runner who joined the space in early 2014. Since then I’ve built a global consulting company FAS, an NFT ticketing platform FlashBack, established brand names like Supermoon Camp, had more than 50 media publications and numerous keynote presentations, panels, and corporate trainings. I also joined AvesLair as a mentor and advising startups on their business development and strategy.
The tech industry became my passion from the moment I saw a PC around the age of 6. I learnt some coding when I was 8-9 and then discovered the stock market charts. At that moment I was determined that my professional path will be in the investment/financial field.
Bitcoin, was the most exciting discovery, as it was bridging two of my passions: finance and technology adding social impact context to it. In 2017, I started working with blockchain companies bringing me business expertise along with a strong knowledge on Asian markets. At the same time, I worked with Silicon Valley VC fund, United Nations where I was bringing my strong knowledge on crypto and blockchain technology.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Like many other people I had projects and areas that could have been handled better. However, I believe that was part of a real hands-on learning process and I would never trade it. Thus, I would just simply say “keep on going” to myself. As everything I know and achieved now was through this learning process.
What problem does your business solve?
FAS | Fintech Advisory Services brings its marketing and business expertise to help blockchain and fintech projects to scale faster and efficiently. We changes the way consulting work with our ecosystem approach enabling a more custom approach for each project we work with.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
Back in 2018, when we started a company, blockchain market was right in the middle of ICO hype. I noticed that many project were raising abnormal capital and were struggling to find qualified professionals that would help them to scale. Many projects also started copying each others business model out of desperation.
I was getting increased number of requests for business strategy and financial modelling that made me realize that to help these projects I would need some help myself and luckily met my partner Sergey Ivanov who already had such an extensive experience in the field. That’s how FAS started. With an idea to help startups to build resilient business models and effectively scale.
We also felt that most of these projects are startups and we need to make our pricing efficient. Thus, we refused from any offices and unnecessary expenses, focusing on the core: hiring outstanding professionals and training crypto newcomers about the space.
What is your magic sauce?
We built a unique consulting ecosystem with outstanding blockchain professionals within marketing, business development, finance, and legal fields from all over the world. FAS offers every client a boutique approach building a tailored team for every specific client based on their business challenges. FAS is one the oldest consulting companies in the blockchain space that focuses on startups and SMEs.
FAS also established professional network of 800+ companies globally including market leaders to facilitate a smooth growth of every our client.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
FAS | Fintech Advisory Services had been growing and reaching new horizons. Next on our pipeline is to build an ecosystem-powered micro accelerator that will help more innovations to enter the market.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
It’s a young industry and many changes are happening frequently. Some trends can even change daily. Long-term planning in this field is always different from any other well-established and long-operating fields. However, this is a reason why everyone is so driven and energetic.
