“We create in a non physical space and it is in the midst of this nexus that we relate to each other”
Tell us about yourself?
I grew up around technology and art. From a young age of before 5 years old I helped my father repair televisions and visited all the art museums of NYC with my mother. This introduction launched me on the path of trying to develop a way of melding the two together.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Be more cautious of the companies I would like to pioneer my innovations with.
What problem does your business solve?
Currently right now, we have pivoted to placing physical assets on the blockchain. Determining their interest and converting that to a sales incentive.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
Breaking into the world of galleries and fashion has always been difficult especially for minorities. We work very hard at developing ways to level the playing field. I believe that creativity is the new economy and rather than automate everything it would be more ethical to involve non-creatives in the sales process and reward them for doing so.
What is your magic sauce?
The magic sauce is by using off the shelf components we can easily identify the asset on the blockchain and give the patron the power to use a simple cellphone to authenticate the asset/NFT. Also our platform of choice uses Web3 to combine the metadata and image together on the blockchain immutably forever or for the life of the planet.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
In the next 5 years I want to make it a standard practice to authenticate assets physical or other wise on the blockchain for all creators and owners.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
Because the issues we solve are so impactful yet come from a logical innovation many of the companies I talk with like to downplay what we are doing, but only grasp a fraction of what the ramifications of what are doing and the areas they open to exploration.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
We want creators and designers to reach out to us and work us so we can openly empower them rather than sealing our innovation with propietary companies so everyone can take hold of this new economy.
