LegionPay was set up by industry experts with the sole goal of bringing crypto, banking, and payment solutions to merchants all in one place. After founding a virtual IBAN platform, a crypto API solution, and multiple other industry connected businesses, one of our Founders, Andrew Anastasiou realised that the solutions were needed, but they were needed in a more stable, secure, and connected way. So, LegionPay was founded to connect merchants to multiple solutions without the needs to process multiple applications and go through continuous different integrations.
Tell us about yourself?
I am an industry veteran and an award winning entrepreneur. I have founded multiple payments, banking, and corporate services business, all with the simple ethos that we want to do our best to build a system which is trustworthy, fair, and above all transparent and friendly. I believe that the reason our projects have flourished and grown so well is that we put “business” on the back burner and always do our best to create something that turns our customers in to friends.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
The inspiration behind our projects is the need to build something that customers can enjoy, as well as utilise. I wanted to create an ecosystem that works 100% on a “call me any time” structure.
Watching our customers grow due to our constant support just drives us further to continue building and bringing more and more opportunities.
What is your magic sauce?
100% our customer service. We literally have 24/7 account management and customer success. All of our team are available privately, any time and this means that should a challenge ever arise for our customers, they have us there instantly to stand next to them and take over the issue so that they can go back to doing what they do best.
This simple service means that we are part of the team with our merchants, and can consider us next to them every single step of the way.
Where do you see your company going in 5 years time?
We are in the process of obtaining an banking license which will allow us to internally process all transactions for our merchants, perform their currency exchanges, settle their revenue and much much more. We believe this is the end goal within 5 years (we have already been operating for 1 year).
What has been your biggest setback so far?
Issues with marketing and organic growth. Due to our business type and model, marketing can be difficult so we had to spend quite a lot of extra funds in order to continue to acquire our customers.
What is the next big challenge for your business?
Getting our license! Alongside our banking license, we also have 2 FCA licenses pending in the UK, an EMI license in Lithuania and a PSP license in Mauritius. For me personally, this is what is currently taking up much of my time.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
We make sure we are available on all platforms, and that our customers and potential customers can see what we are doing and if something grabs their interest they can easily drop us a line. You can follow us on Instagram, LinkedIn, reach out to us via our websites, our affiliates, and our network.
You can also message our team directly on LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Slack etc!
