Tell us about yourself?
My passion for fashion along with technology and design. I believe that the industry needs to create different things. To have that differentiation to sell in an original way. I am sure that because of my self-taught experience, NEW DEPARTMENT will be a reference in the sector in a few years.

What problem does your business solve?
We offer a quality in our product where we have no competition. Since we mix technology and design and a material that in Spain is not yet used by the competition and at an affordable price.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
As I have already explained in several media. Since I was 12 years old I started to immerse myself in the world of fashion and design. It started developing web pages for myself as a hobby. I always looked at streetwear reference brands like Aime Leon Dore, Palm Angels, or Kith and during a trip to New York was there where I decided it was time to create a brand and take it to success.
What is your magic sauce?
The way to connect with the public and attract customers. Nowadays brands live far away from their audience and do not take care of the community and customers. In ND through social networks, beyond being a fashion brand, we are an entertainment channel.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
In the next 5 years, my goal is to consolidate my position in the U.S. market through department stores such as Saks, Macy’s and physical stores. Also to be able to be one of the references of fashion in my country.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
The biggest challenge was dealing with problems with suppliers and inexperience in the optical sector. Fortunately, we have always had a great reaction time and have been able to continue climbing. Also the product we have been selling so far in the previous years because of Covid suffered a worldwide drop in sales. But I think it is not what you sell, but how you sell it, the way you sell it, the magic.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
